India MedTech Expo 2025 to Showcase Innovation and Global Collaboration in New Delhi
The second edition of the India MedTech Expo 2025 will be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 4 to 6 September. Organised by the Department of Pharmaceuticals in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices (EPCMD), and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), the event forms a key part of the Bharat Health 2025 initiative.
Leaders and Experts to Inaugurate the Expo
Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, along with Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & IT, Shri Jitin Prasada, will inaugurate the event. Senior officials including Shri Amit Agrawal, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, and Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, Drug Controller General of India, will also participate.
The expo will feature a strong line-up of policymakers, industry leaders, and global experts, highlighting India’s position as a rising hub for precision-driven yet affordable MedTech solutions.
Showcasing India’s MedTech Strength
Themed ‘India: Global MedTech Manufacturing Hub, Precision Engineering yet Affordable’, the three-day expo will bring together more than 350 exhibitors across dedicated pavilions for MSMEs, start-ups, research institutions, and government initiatives.
Attendees can expect:
Six exclusive pavilions: MSME, Future Innovation, R&D, Government, State, and Start-up.
State showcases presenting investment and manufacturing opportunities.
Experience zones for interactive demonstrations.
Over 150 international buyers from more than 30 countries.
The event will also include CEO roundtables, fireside chats, thematic conferences, and regulator open houses, encouraging dialogue across the MedTech value chain.
Driving Growth in India’s MedTech Sector
India’s medical devices industry, valued at nearly USD 15 billion, is projected to reach USD 30 billion by 2030. With over 800 start-ups and strong R&D infrastructure, the country is rapidly positioning itself as a global MedTech innovation and export hub.
Praveen Kumar Mittal, Executive Director of EPCMD, noted: “India MedTech Expo 2025 will act as a catalyst to showcase India’s growth story in medical technology and foster global collaborations that can transform healthcare access.”
International participation will come from regions including ASEAN, Africa, the Middle East, CIS, and Oceania. Delegates from leading institutions such as IITs, IISc, AIIMS, ICMR, NITI Aayog, and the World Bank will also contribute to the discussions.

With more than 500 companies displaying products and services, India MedTech Expo 2025 is set to be the country’s largest medical devices exhibition to date. It will play a critical role in advancing India’s Vision 2047, strengthening the nation’s presence in the global MedTech sector, and accelerating both domestic and international investments.
