Defence Tech Leader Joins Tsecond to Advance AI Infrastructure at the Tactical Edge

Tsecond, a global leader in AI-powered edge infrastructure and creator of the BRYCK platform, has named Raj Iyer as its new president for public sector markets. The appointment marks a key step in the company’s mission to support defence agencies worldwide as they embrace advanced technologies to enhance military decision-making.

Raj Iyer, a seasoned defence and technology expert, brings over 30 years of experience to the role. As the first chief information officer of the U.S. Army, he led significant digital transformation, modernising IT infrastructure, improving cyber readiness, and boosting mission agility across global operations. He has also held senior roles at major consulting firms, driving innovation across federal agencies.

    Strengthening AI Capabilities in Government

Tsecond has grown rapidly across media and entertainment, enterprise, and government sectors since 2020. Its solutions are already in use by global players such as Boeing, MSG Sphere, Picture Shop, and India’s Ministry of Defence. With Iyer on board, the company aims to strengthen its foothold in the federal market.

In his new position, Iyer will lead the engineering, marketing, and sales teams focused on public sector engagement. He will help Tsecond co-develop solutions with government partners, ensuring the company’s offerings meet the evolving demands of mission-critical environments.

CEO and co-founder Sahil Chawla said, “Raj’s deep experience in strategy and defence technology is a perfect match for our goals. His insight into government challenges will help us deliver impactful results for our public sector clients.”

    Building Infrastructure for Decision Dominance

Commenting on his new role, Iyer said, “Government agencies are now generating more data at the edge than at the enterprise. This presents a major opportunity to turn data into decisions where it’s collected. But it demands infrastructure that can perform reliably in tough, resource-limited environments.”

He added, “Joining Tsecond is an exciting chance to help build this future. Our next phase of growth will focus on empowering governments to fully harness AI for public service and national security.”

    About Tsecond

Tsecond designs compact, high-performance edge infrastructure built for rugged conditions. Its BRYCK platform enables AI inferencing, storage, and data mobility in a single portable device. These solutions support critical operations in extreme settings—from the deep sea to outer space.

Trusted by industry leaders like Boeing and Picture Shop, and defence agencies in both India and the US, Tsecond continues to drive innovation at the edge.
