Suhora and Satellogic Ink Exclusive Multi-Year Deal to Deliver High-Resolution Earth Observation Services in India and Nepal

Ahead of Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s expected visit later this month, Suhora Technologies, a space data analytics startup based out of Noida has signed an exclusive, multi-year partnership with Satellogic Inc. to deliver sub-meter, high-resolution Earth observation services in India and Nepal. This agreement marks a seven-figure agreement for exclusive market rights in both countries.

This move comes at a time when India-Nepal space sector collaboration is deepening, and just ahead of the Nepal Prime Minister’s scheduled for September 16–17, where regional cooperation in areas like technology, connectivity and tourism is expected to be discussed.

Under the agreement inked today, Suhora’s partnership with Satellogic grants exclusive rights to distribute Satellogic’s satellite data and analytics within India and Nepal, significantly expanding market access to affordable, high-resolution EO imagery in South Asia. Through Suhora’s SPADE SaaS platform, government and commercial users will gain streamlined access to multi-sensor data for rapid, actionable insights. Applications span urban planning, infrastructure, natural resource management, disaster response, and climate mitigation, addressing evolving national priorities.

Suhora CEO Krishanu Acharya stressed that integrating Satellogic’s advanced EO data elevates India’s capacity for data-driven decision-making, supporting resilient and sustainable growth. COO Amit Kumar noted that Suhora is technically and operationally equipped to service rising demand for geospatial intelligence across both countries.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Suhora and solidify our commitment to the Indian market with this exclusive agreement. India is a dynamic and vital hub of innovation and there is immense potential for Earth Observation data to drive progress. This partnership will democratize access to critical geospatial insights, providing the most cost-effective, high-capacity data access to help solve significant national challenges, from security to sustainability. We look forward to a successful collaboration with Suhora,” said Emiliano Kargieman, CEO and Co-Founder of Satellogic.

This milestone also builds on recent collaboration between the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Space India Limited (NSIL), and Nepal’s space sector. In 2024, India helped launch Nepal’s indigenous Munal satellite, fabricated with student and startup involvement, to build a vegetation density database and bolster Nepal’s space research with AI-supported imagery. The agreement, signed during External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s Nepal visit, underlines cross-border ambitions in earth observation and small satellite technology, highlighting India and Nepal’s intent to further deepen ties in space research and applications.

This landmark Suhora-Satellogic agreement aligns with the larger trend of India-Nepal collaboration in space, providing new momentum for shared regional priorities such as satellite launches, geospatial research, and technological capacity-building.

The Suhora-Satellogic exclusive agreement positions India and Nepal at the forefront of Earth observation service delivery in South Asia. It empowers government agencies, commercial entities, and research institutes to harness vital high-frequency, high-resolution geospatial data for smart decision-making and addresses critical challenges like sustainability, security, and disaster management. Combined with recent space agreements and the Nepal PM’s likely India visit, it signals robust growth and regional leadership in space-based intelligence and high-impact geospatial applications.
