    TCIL PNB MoU

TCIL Partners with PNB to Boost Digital Banking with IT Solutions

Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Communications, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Punjab National Bank (PNB). The agreement, signed on 3 September 2025, aims to strengthen PNB’s IT infrastructure and speed up its digital transformation. The partnership is designed to offer faster, more secure, and customer-focused banking services across India.

A Step Forward in Digital Innovation

The signing ceremony was held at TCIL’s headquarters in New Delhi. TCIL was represented by its Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Sanjeev Kumar. Mr Manish Agrawal, General Manager of PNB, attended with other senior executives from both organisations.

This collaboration brings together the strengths of two major institutions. TCIL will offer expertise in IT consulting, project management, and the execution of complex digital projects. This support will help PNB enhance its digital backbone and improve the reliability of its services. It will also promote innovation in customer engagement.

Focused IT Support for a Smarter Future

As part of the agreement, TCIL will assist PNB in several key areas. These include managing the full lifecycle of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), system integration, rolling out IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Depending on the project’s needs, TCIL will act either as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) or the Project Implementing Agency (PIA). This flexibility allows both organisations to stay aligned with PNB’s long-term technology goals and customer expectations.

    Strengthening India’s Digital Banking Vision

TCIL’s CMD Shri Sanjeev Kumar emphasised the importance of the partnership. He noted that the collaboration reflects TCIL’s commitment to being a trusted technology partner for leading Indian institutions. He said the company’s deep knowledge in IT solutions will support PNB’s efforts to improve its services.

Mr Manish Agrawal, GM of PNB, described the MoU as a key milestone. He highlighted that with TCIL’s proven track record, PNB will accelerate its digital growth and build a more resilient, secure, and customer-oriented banking environment.

The partnership aligns with the Government of India’s Digital India mission. It supports secure and tech-driven financial services while helping to expand the country’s digital banking network.
