Lenovo Unveils AI Cloud Partnership with Nvidia and Launches Qira Superagent at CES 2026

Lenovo announced a major collaboration with U.S. chipmaker Nvidia and introduced a new personal AI assistant, Qira, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Tuesday, January 6. The launch marked the Chinese company’s latest effort to expand its presence in artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Lenovo and Nvidia Partner on AI Cloud Infrastructure

Speaking on stage alongside Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Lenovo Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing revealed the launch of the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory, developed in partnership with Nvidia. The initiative will enable AI cloud providers to build and operate large-scale data centres more efficiently.

“We are launching the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory with Nvidia,” Yang said. “It works with the new Rubin platform announced yesterday. It helps AI cloud providers accelerate deployment and scale up to hundreds of thousands of GPUs for trillion-parameter large language models.”

Under the programme, Lenovo will combine its liquid-cooled hybrid AI infrastructure with Nvidia’s computing platforms. The company said this approach will allow providers to deploy AI data centres in a matter of weeks, significantly reducing setup time.

Introducing Lenovo Qira: A Cross-Platform AI Superagent

Lenovo also unveiled Qira, described as its first “personal AI superagent.” Yang said the system redefines personalised technology by adapting to users’ needs across devices.

“Lenovo Qira works on your phone, PC, tablet or wearable—wherever you need AI to be,” Yang explained. “It functions across platforms, from Windows to Android.”

Designed to operate seamlessly in the background, Qira is capable of understanding its surroundings, learning user preferences and anticipating future needs. “It’s truly a perceptive AI,” Yang said. “Lenovo Qira remembers what you like or dislike, anticipates what you might need next, and whatever it does for you, it protects your privacy.”

The company noted that Qira will be integrated into both Lenovo and Motorola devices, offering a unified AI experience. It will also connect with third-party services such as travel provider Expedia.

    Expanding Lenovo’s AI Vision

At CES, Lenovo further showcased concept products and the first foldable smartphone under its Motorola brand, underscoring its growing ambition in the AI and mobile markets. The company, already the world’s largest PC maker, aims to strengthen its foothold in next-generation computing technologies by combining hardware innovation with AI-powered software solutions.

With Nvidia’s technology and Lenovo’s global infrastructure, the partnership is positioned to accelerate AI deployment worldwide, signalling a shift toward more intelligent and adaptive computing ecosystems.
