India Expects Over $200 Billion In AI Investment Within Two Years
India’s Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated on Tuesday, February 17, that the country expects to attract more than $200 billion in artificial intelligence investments over the next two years. He shared this projection while addressing a major gathering focused on advancing artificial intelligence across sectors.

Vaishnaw delivered his remarks during the India AI Impact Summit, a five-day event that brings together policymakers, industry leaders, and international delegates. The summit features exhibitions and discussions that highlight India’s plans to scale artificial intelligence across industries.
In addition, the event showcases efforts to expand inclusive adoption and build advanced digital infrastructure. Organisers have structured the summit to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange. Consequently, it serves as a key platform for shaping future AI strategies.
