    ISRO Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 410 Posts at URSC

    The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited applications for 410 apprentice positions at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Bengaluru. The recruitment drive offers opportunities for graduate apprentices, technician apprentices and commercial practice apprentices, providing candidates with practical training at one of India’s leading space research centres.

    Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. According to the official notification, the application window opened on July 29, 2026, and will remain open until August 28, 2026.

    Vacancy Details and Monthly Stipend

    ISRO has announced a total of 410 apprenticeship vacancies across three categories. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year training programme.

    The apprenticeship programme is intended for eligible graduates and diploma holders seeking hands-on experience in India’s space sector.

    How to Apply

    Candidates can apply online by following these steps:

    1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
    2. Complete the registration process, if not already registered.
    3. Log in using the registered credentials.
    4. Search for apprenticeship opportunities at U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC).
    5. Select the appropriate apprentice category.
    6. Fill in the required application details.
    7. Upload the necessary documents.
    8. Submit the application and save the confirmation page for future reference.

    Applicants are advised to complete the registration and application process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.

    Selection Process

    The selection process will be based entirely on candidates’ academic performance. ISRO will prepare a merit list using the marks obtained in the qualifying degree or diploma examination.

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification. The organisation has clarified that no travelling allowance (TA) will be provided for attending the verification process. Final selection will be subject to successful verification of the required documents and eligibility criteria.

    Candidates should carefully read the official notification before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements and submit the necessary documents within the prescribed timeline.
