Kalyani Strategic Systems Highlights Indian Defence Innovation at Indo Defence Expo 2025

Promoting Advanced Artillery Systems in Southeast Asia

    Jakarta, Indonesia – 12 June 2025:
Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), a wholly owned arm of Bharat Forge Limited, is showcasing its defence innovations at the Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2025. The event, running from 11 to 14 June in Jakarta, is the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia. KSSL is using this platform to highlight India’s strength in indigenous defence technology.

KSSL brings a strong track record in land systems and next-generation artillery platforms. Its presence at the expo reinforces India’s reputation as a reliable defence partner in the region. The company is gaining attention for its advanced capabilities and commitment to defence innovation.

    Showcasing KSSL Flagship Artillery Solutions

At the heart of KSSL’s display are two standout systems – the Garuda 105 and MArG 45. These cutting-edge artillery systems are designed for modern battlefield needs.

The Garuda 105 is an ultra-lightweight 105mm/37 calibre Mounted Gun System. It is built for rapid deployment, ideal for high-altitude and fast-moving missions. Its “Shoot & Scoot” and “go anywhere” capabilities make it well-suited for demanding terrains.

The MArG 45 series includes 155mm mounted gun systems available in both 39 and 45 calibre options. These systems offer precision, mobility, and power. They reflect India’s growing expertise in advanced artillery engineering.

    Strengthening India-Indonesia Defence Cooperation

KSSL’s strong participation signals a boost in India-Indonesia defence ties. The Indo Defence Expo provides critical networking and export opportunities. It supports the India-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership by encouraging industrial collaboration.

The expo allows KSSL to engage with key defence stakeholders. It also promotes the global footprint of India’s indigenous defence industry. KSSL’s involvement is a clear step toward building stronger bilateral relations through technology and trust.
