Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo Opens In Beijing

The fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) opened in Beijing on Monday, June 22, bringing together companies and industry participants from a range of sectors. The event highlights developments across global supply chains and provides a platform for businesses to present new technologies and products.

This year, organisers placed a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. As a result, the expo introduced a dedicated AI zone for the first time, reflecting growing interest in the technology and its expanding role across industries.

    Artificial Intelligence Takes Centre Stage

The newly introduced artificial intelligence zone features a range of companies and technology displays. Participants include Nvidia, Intel and Alibaba, all of which are showcasing products and innovations linked to AI development.

In addition, visitors can view robots, processors and AI-powered consumer products throughout the exhibition area. These displays demonstrate how artificial intelligence continues to influence both industrial applications and everyday consumer technology.

Furthermore, the dedicated AI section underlines the increasing importance of advanced computing and intelligent systems within modern supply chains. The presence of major technology companies also highlights the sector’s growing prominence at international industry events.

China Reiterates Support For Global Cooperation

During the opening ceremony, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang addressed attendees and reiterated Beijing’s opposition to protectionism, unilateral sanctions and export controls.

Moreover, he called for stronger international cooperation across global supply chains. His remarks emphasised the importance of maintaining connectivity and collaboration as businesses and economies continue to navigate an evolving global environment.

The comments formed a key part of the opening proceedings and reinforced China’s position on international trade and supply chain development. At the same time, the speech highlighted the role of large-scale industry events in promoting dialogue between companies and markets.

Batteries And Energy Storage Draw Attention

Beyond artificial intelligence, batteries and energy storage emerged as another major focus of the expo. Companies in the sector used the event to present products designed to support changing energy needs.

Among them, Chinese battery manufacturer Gotion High-Tech showcased its latest products. The company used the platform to highlight developments in battery technology as demand for electrification and renewable energy storage continues to expand worldwide.

Meanwhile, the emphasis on energy storage reflected broader interest in technologies that support electrification. The sector remains an important area of attention as industries seek solutions that align with growing energy requirements.

The fourth China International Supply Chain Expo will continue in Beijing until Friday, June 26, giving participants additional opportunities to showcase technologies, exchange ideas and engage with industry stakeholders.
