Foxconn And Intel Partner To Develop Next-Generation AI Infrastructure
Taiwanese electronics manufacturing giant Foxconn has announced a strategic partnership with U.S. chipmaker Intel to jointly develop and deploy next-generation artificial intelligence infrastructure and intelligent computing platforms. The collaboration aims to capitalise on rapidly growing global demand for AI-powered computing systems.
Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer, said the partnership will combine Intel’s advanced semiconductor technologies with Foxconn’s expertise in manufacturing, system integration and global supply chain management.
Focus On AI Data Centre Infrastructure
Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on equipment designed for AI data centres, a sector experiencing significant expansion as organisations invest heavily in artificial intelligence capabilities.
The partnership will focus on developing server racks powered by Intel Xeon processors and AI accelerator chips. In addition, both companies plan to work on critical technologies that improve AI system performance and efficiency.
These areas include high-speed interconnect solutions, advanced cooling technologies and energy-efficient system designs, all of which have become increasingly important as AI workloads grow more complex and power-intensive.

The partnership reflects growing efforts within the technology sector to create end-to-end AI solutions that integrate hardware, manufacturing expertise and infrastructure deployment.

In addition to AI infrastructure, Foxconn and Intel said they will explore opportunities in custom semiconductor development and system integration solutions.
