    Global shipbuilding hub

The worst kept secrets about India’s maritime history in modern India is that it undercounted its maritime boundary by nearly 40 percent and has a negligible share of global shipbuilding capability.

Now India wants to make up for this strategic blunder. This year’s Union Budget provided yet another push to nudge India’s audacious ambition to become a global shipbuilding hub in the next 10 years.
